You’re receptive to new ideas today, thanks to the Moon’s sextile to inventive Uranus. In the past, you brushed aside a colleague’s suggestions about improving certain work methods. Now you’re eager to experiment with this concept. That’s what happens when you run out of options. Consider how you could benefit from dropping your reservations in other areas of life.
Expressing your creative side is also favored. You’re not terribly worried what others will think of your work. You’re more concerned with being true to yourself. This is a very healthy attitude. Too often, we poison our lives by giving into fear. Summon your courage and take a risk.
Looking ahead, there will be lots of furious debate. Combative Mars will enter communicative Gemini, prompting everyone to argue their case. At times, it will feel as though you’re yelling into the wind.
The Sun is at 8 degrees Gemini, the Moon is in Aquarius, Mercury is in Gemini, Venus is in Gemini and Mars is in Taurus. With this combination of planetary energies try to: Pull out some paints or even a pencil and create abstract art. Try not to: Lose sleep over who said what. Maybe they actually liked you.
Today’s exact aspects and their keywords are:
- Moon Sextile Uranus: Time for Something New.
- Moon Square Saturn: Critical Inflexible.
- Moon Trine Sun: Time for Evaluation.
- Saturn, Pluto are retrograde.
And finally happy birthday to Melissa Etheridge, Rupert Everett and Annette Bening. If it’s your birthday, the year ahead will tempt you to break away from the crowd. You’ll resist pressure to fit in with the rest of the group. Developing an unusual interest or talent will prove rewarding. If you have a chance to study with an eccentric teacher, grab it.
