Magnetic Induction: Inviting the Good Flow
Magnetic Induction: Inviting the Good Flow
By Lisa Shaw
What does it mean to be magnetic? Consider this, not in the context of charismatic personality, but in the scientific context of very specific elemental attraction. A quick survey of online dictionaries provides similar definitions, but this one from the “American Heritage Dictionary” stands out because of its unique modifier:
An object that is surrounded by a magnetic field and that has the property, either natural or induced.
This confirms that the ability to attract desired energy into our lives is not necessarily innate. We can will ourselves to operate within the laws of attraction and, in essence, reconstruct our outlook and our lives.
Let us give credit where it is deserved. The multi-million dollar bestseller, The Secret, invited millions of readers to open to the possibility of creating abundance through the laws of attraction. It worked for mass consciousness, with testimonials from multiple, now-prosperous authors and entrepreneurs sharing personal stories of reward.
We can go beyond physical acquisition and achievement, elevating our intention above the material. Try this without directing the specific path of defined result. Are we sure it is a new job, or house, or larger paycheck we need? By limiting ourselves to physical manifestation, are we limiting our soul’s growth?
Instead, try to trust the universe to determine the flow and form of transformation that will work for our highest benefit. Perhaps our greatest growth lies in understanding that self healing is incomplete if we are not equally focused on healing the world as a whole. This shift in consciousness alone–the hands-off-the-wheel for the greater good of all—will yield intangible rewards that last lifetimes for multitudes.
