Do these circumstances sound familiar to you?

Do you need a Feng Shui Consultation? Have you been reading this column, or maybe picked up a few books, but you’re still not really sure if Feng Shui can help you, where you are right now? I’m here to help you answer that question.
The truth is, Feng Shui can help everyone. Wherever you are, no matter how successful you are or if every day feels like a struggle, there are changes you can make to your home or apartment to bring your environment into better alignment with your goals.
But there are certain circumstances when people can particularly benefit from the insight Feng Shui offers. If you’re experiencing certain patterns in your life, and you don’t like where those patterns have taken you, it may be time to consider Feng Shui solutions.
Here are seven signs you may need a Feng Shui makeover:
1. You are house- or apartment-hunting or are just considering a move. It’s much easier, and often less expensive, to begin in a home or apartment with good Feng Shui than to try to “fix” the Feng Shui in a space after you’ve moved in. A Feng Shui consultant can help you find a home or apartment that’s already in alignment with your life goals, and has energy that fits your personal energy, so you’ll be supported by your surroundings from the start.
2. You’ve experienced a change in fortune after a move, or your new home or apartment just doesn’t “feel” right. – If a residence has less than optimal chi, or life energy, we sometimes don’t notice until it’s too late and we’ve already moved in. Maybe your marriage, which was previously strong, is suffering in your new home. Maybe you’ve experienced an inexplicable change in finances not related to added costs in your new home. Perhaps your health is even suffering. After eliminating such causes as mold in your new home or allergies in a new location, it may be time to turn to Feng Shui to see how you can attract more positive chi, opportunity, love and good health in to your new home.
3. When you’re re-purposing rooms or re-arranging the layout of your home or apartment. – Often, we make changes to our home or apartment that shifts the layout of important rooms, such as the master bedroom. These changes affect the flow of energy in the home and can affect the residents’ fortune.
I consulted for a woman who moved her home office from the second floor to the first floor of her suburban home to make more space for a new baby and the addition of a playroom on the main level. She experienced misfortune in her home-based business until she optimized her new home office using Feng Shui principles, placing her desk in the command position, adding a fountain to the wealth corner, and making sure the door opened a full 90 degrees. Her children are sleeping better upstairs, her marriage has improved since she moved the master bedroom out of the front half of the home, and her business is booming.
