Stern Saturn moves retrograde in sultry Scorpio today. It’s time to re-examine some of the big changes we’ve experienced over the past few months. Issues of joint finances, physical intimacy and profound loss have touched everyone in some form or another. If you’re a Cancer, Scorpio or Pisces, these themes have had an especially profound impact on your life. Now the dust is settling and we all have an opportunity to adjust to these dramatic changes.

Venus is also forming a square to Mars, causing tension in relationships with people of the opposite sex. We should all tread carefully with friends, relatives and neighbors.

Looking ahead, there could be more opportunities to socialize. Parties and casual get-togethers will provide a welcome change of pace. Professional gatherings can be put on the back burner.

The Sun is at 12 degrees Pisces, the Moon is in Aries, Mercury is in Aquarius, Venus is in Capricorn and Mars is in Libra. With this combination of planetary energies try to: Loosen up a little. Have a bit of fun. Take chances. Try not to: Give a book on financial planning as a romantic gift.

Today’s exact aspects and their keywords are:

  • Venus Square Mars: Coming on too Strong.
  • Moon Sextile Venus: Creative Surge.
  • Mars, Jupiter, Saturn are retrograde.

And finally happy birthday to Jon Bon Jovi, Chris Martin and Reggie Bush. If you’re celebrating your birthday today, the year ahead presents a fabulous opportunity to change course. “Out with the old and in with the new” should be your motto. Don’t be afraid to fight for what you want.
