Mercury goes retrograde today, causing all sorts of problems concerning privacy. Personal information could be left in the open, making you upset and angry. Take extra steps to guard your files and accounts. Upgrade your passwords, and keep confidential material under lock and key. Don’t repeat any juicy stories, or your indiscretion will come back to haunt you.

A hidden rival will try to get into your good graces. Be polite to everyone, but only trust friends who have stood the test of time. You can’t afford to tilt your hand now, while Mercury is in such a weak position.     In the next few days, we’ll see the Sun making a tense square to Jupiter. People will go to extremes. Prepare to see some outrageous behavior. Don’t worry; things will soon calm down and go back to normal.

The Sun is at 5 degrees Pisces, the Moon is in Leo,  Mercury is in Pisces, Venus is in Aquarius and Mars is in Pisces. With this combination of planetary energies try to: Go to coffee or lunch with a coworker you want as a friend. Try not to: Bully a weaker friend into an activity they don’t want to do.

Today’s exact aspects and their keywords are:

  • Moon Trine Uranus: Ah-Ha!
  • Moon Sextile Jupiter: Looking Up.
  • Moon Square Saturn: Critical and Inflexible.
  • Mercury, Saturn are retrograde.

And finally happy birthday to Dakota Fanning, Emily Blunt and Peter Fonda.  If it’s your birthday today, the year ahead will involve planting seeds. You’re not sure which ones will sprout, but that doesn’t really matter. Try your hand at as many things as possible, and then see which captivate your spirit. You can afford to be adventurous during the next twelve months.
