A Week with Mary Morrissey
Monday – Wherever Energy Goes
In the New Testament, St. Paul says, “Whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are of good report, think on these things.”
A couple of thousand years later, quantum physicists would discover that where energy or attention goes, energy flows.
The first energy is in our thoughts —where energy goes, energy flows. St. Paul already knew that we become what we think about. Whatever is lovely, true, good –whatever is of good report –think on these things.
Where your energy goes, so does your life.
Tuesday – Breathe
Let’s do an experiment today. Take a deep breath. Let it out. Repeat with another deep breath. Let it out.
You’ll notice that if you really take two or three deep breaths, it changes you. It changes your awareness. It changes the feeling in your body. It helps you to be more appreciative.
It actually promotes a change in us at the cellular level. Every tiny part of us is serving as a reminder of the gift of life that is happening within us right now.
Wednesday – The Happiest Place on Earth
Disneyland is known as ‘The Happiest Place on Earth.’
What makes it the happiest place on earth is that they teach people how to think from the place inside themselves that builds dreams.
You know what? Right where you are right now could be the happiest place on earth. Consider those things around you that serve as reminders of a way to think inside yourself — Just like that happy place. Find that place, and build those dreams.
Thursday – Broadcasting
Every single one of us is a broadcast station. We are broadcasting a signal; a vibration of the major thoughts we are holding.
Those thoughts can show up in the way we hold our faces, the way our shoulders are tensed or relaxed, and how we walk.
Right now, you are broadcasting to the universe the energy of the predominant thoughts you are holding. Through the law of attraction, that energy draws to you ideas, people, circumstances, and situations that are an exact match with the prayers you are saying — even though you may not realize these prayers.
